Jenny Chui Bank of Ireland Musician finalist

Jenny Chui was selected as one of 12 finalists to compete for the Catherine Judge Memorial Prize. The competition took place in the Great Hall at Queen’s University. There was a monetary prize of £5000, this was the first year that competitors were from north and south of the border. Each competitor played a ten minute programme and after much deliberation the three judges awarded the prize to a violinist. Jenny gave an accomplished performance of music by Chopin and Fats Waller. Jenny has been a great asset to the music department, we wish her every success in her A level examinations and the future.
