2X1As play their first cup match against Royal School Dungannon

Saturday 14 November and it was our second round cup match in the McDowell Cup. Everybody was on form and ready to go! We started off like a bomb. Within the first 15 minutes we had already a few shots on goal with the opposition keeper making great saves. A few minutes later Ara Mc Carten controlled the ball well with a well timed hit smashing the backboard to make it 1-0. Then just before half time Tash Patterson deflected a beautiful goal into the back of the net! Just after half time after Mrs Loane’s wise words for us to spread out and be controlled on the ball, Phoebe Hagan pounced on a deflection and scored to make it 3-0. During the match Lauren made some 2 super saves to deny the opposition Royal Schoolat their home ground in Dungannon.
We all played so well and Mrs Loane finished it off with a 'I'm so proud'! Bring on the 3rd round and the party bus for the final!!
