VCB perform 'Hamlet' for the Shakespeare for Schools’ Project

On Saturday 11th April 2015 Victoria College performed ‘Hamlet’ for the Shakespeare for Schools’ Project at the Rotary Conference, Hilton Hotel , Belfast.

The event involved six year 12 pupils who had initially performed the piece as a group of 25 for the Shakespeare for Schools Festival at The Mac theatre in November.  This performance involved editing and shaping the play to suit five performers, with one girl providing technical support. The feedback received from the event co-ordinator Claire Meade was exceptional;

'Thank you so much for your amazing contribution for SSF at the Rotary Conference on Saturday.

I was in awe of your students who were absolutely brilliant. I was very impressed by their commitment, energy and focus both in the performance and behind the scenes. They were true professionals - please thank them all from me. '

Congratulations to Ellie Andrews, Judith Andrews , Caroline Hannan, Sarah Hanley, Molly Jeffrey, Rachel McKerr, and the staff members, Mr and Mrs Burn.
