Game of Thrones photographer Helen Sloan visits VCB

Film Still Photographer Helen Sloan visited Victoria College on Monday 20th April 2015 to discuss her work in the Television and Film Industry.  Helen is the Key Stills Photographer for HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ television series and has worked on the BBC television production ‘The Fall’.  She has photographed many famous actors and actresses, and has worked on diverse locations across the globe. 

Pupils enjoyed viewing never before seen behind the scenes photographs that Helen had taken recently on the Game of Thrones set. She also brought her camera equipment and gave pupils the opportunity to try it out.  Each pupil had the opportunity to ask Helen questions and seek her advice on opportunities within the Film Industry.  Both staff and pupils really enjoyed this visit and would like to thank Helen for taking the time out of her busy film production schedule to visit school.
