Year 10 pupils visit Thales Engineering site

In June Year 10 pupils visited the Thales Engineering site in East Belfast. The girls discovered the wealth and range of career opportunities available for young people interested in STEM careers. They had a fascinating tour of the facility where they observed the engineers and designers at work and they were afforded the opportunity to speak to graduates and to learn about their various pathways to Thales.

We are very grateful to Gillian Winters, CEO of the Engineering Training Council (NI) for organising the visit and to Robin Newton, MLA, East Belfast for greeting the pupils upon their arrival.
