Y9 Gaelic footballers reach Quarter Finals of St Genevieve's Annual Blitz

On Tuesday 16th June, Y9 Gaelic footballers attended St Genevieve's Annual Blitz. The pupils involved were joined by over 25 teams representing schools from across Northern Ireland. Early successes in matches against St Dominic's Belfast, St. Marks Warrenpoint and St Patricks, Keady helped the team qualify for the Quarter Finals of the competition.

Although the girls were eventually beaten by St. Paul's Bessbrook in a thrilling game, the blitz was a great success for all involved.
