Year 8 Camógs Retain Title!
Congratulations to the Year 8 Camogie team who defeated Aquinas Grammar School 3-0 in the final of the Aileen Lawlor Camogie tournament. The girls played exceptionally well throughout. With Ellen Barbour in goal, Eva Briggs and Emilia Azuara-Lois were solid in the full-back line. Katherine Ward, Poppy McCamphill, and co-captains Sorcha O’Brien and Meabh McGurk dominated midfield whilst Maddie Brittain was prolific in front of the opposition goal. The shield was presented by Aileen Lawlor, President of the Camogie Association of Ireland.
