VCB Swimming Success

Congratulations to our Intermediate Swimming Relay Team of Amy Montgomery, Emma Montgomery, Sasha McKeown and Florence Tinsdale. The pupils enjoyed recent successes in both the Ulster Schools Relay Gala and also in the Swim Ulster Schools Gala.

The pupils won gold in both the Freestyle and Medley relay.

At the Swim Ulster Gala the team took silver in the Medley relay and just touched into 4th in the Freestyle. Florence Tinsdale won bronze in the 100m backstroke and Emma Montgomery won bronze in the 100m freestyle.

Several junior school pupils also swam in this event achieving personal bests and Irish qualification times.
