GCSE Grading Update

You may have heard in the news that changes are coming with regards to GCSE grading. Please watch the video below for a guide to changes in GCSE grading.

You will note that it is not until summer 2019 that the grading will change for all CCEA GCSE qualifications. It is at this point when the vast majority of learners will notice a change in the way that GCSEs are graded. The C* will appear in the grading for the first time and there will be a decrease in the number of learners achieving an A* overall.
