to Aliza (Yr 13), who as part of theSistersINProgrammehas been selected as one of the 12 participants for the 2048; The Future Starts Now event to be held at the Senate Chamber at Stormont on 9th December 2023.

The objective of ‘2048: The Future Starts Now’ is to provide these young participants with intensive training in public speaking, enabling them to deliver a powerful 5-minute speech envisioning the future of Northern Ireland. These speeches will be presented to a select audience of community and business leaders. Following the presentations, the leaders will have the opportunity to engage with each young speaker individually, fostering meaningful conversations about their aspirations and visions for the future of our society.

As we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement in 2023, this event aims to encourage participants to contemplate the next 25 years and the positive impact they can bring to Northern Ireland.
