Year 9 Careers Festival

During the fortnight commencing Monday 5 June, Year 9 pupils will be exploring career pathways. Departments will highlight career opportunities relevant to their subject areas. In addition, we have invited professionals from the world of work to speak to pupils about careers in architecture, design, food, rural enterprise, technology, STEM and other sectors. Pupils will attend workshops on CVs, Employability, Coding and IT. Mr Thompson has also organised a Young Enterprise workshop. Our aim is to encourage the pupils to start thinking about future career pathways earlier and to prepare them for choosing GCSE subjects next year. We hope they will find the events helpful and enjoyable.
