EARLY YEARS LEADER (PERMANENT)

  • To enhance and enrich the development of every child attending the Pre-School class and ensure that the aims and objectives of the Preparatory School are achieved in a manner that not only meets the needs of each individual child, but also promotes a positive image of the Preparatory School, reflects good practice in child development, and complies with all relevant health and safety standards and the Minimum Standards for Childminding and Day Care for Children Under Age 12 (NI) Order 1995 regulations.

  • To plan, organise and manage the delivery of the Pre-School class in a way that meets or exceeds the needs of each individual child and to be responsible and accountable for the day to day supervision and management of the Pre-School class in an efficient, effective, and economic manner.

  • To provide support and assistance to the Senior Leadership Team in all aspects of school improvement and contribute to the development and delivery of a child-centred programme of activities and events.

  • To have specific responsibility for and to oversee the day-to-day management, staffing, organisation and smooth running of the Pre-School class and After Hours.

  • To provide curricular support across the Pre-School classes to help build relationships across PreSchool and the Preparatory years.

  • To work effectively under the direction of the Head of the Preparatory School and contribute to the growth and development of the Pre-School setting.
