Ulster Hockey’s Annual Summer Camp
Ulster Hockey’s Talent and High Performance Unit is running a number of Talent Camps across Northern Ireland in July and August.
This is a scheme aimed at providing an opportunity for young outfield players to develop their skills and learn some new ones at a time when, hopefully, the weather is good. The camp will be intensive and competitive but also allow for a lot of fun and enjoyment over the week.
As well as offering this opportunity to all we are writing to specific players who have previously been in our underage programmes to make them aware of opportunities in their area.
The Camps will be led by Shirley McCay, the Ulster Hockey Talent Coach and those assisting will include Senior Internationals Megan Frazer, Michael Robson, Katie Mullan, Chloe Brown and Eugene Magee.
Areas covered in the camps will include goal scoring, 3D skills, hitting, elimination skills and specialist skills including aerials, reverse stick shooting and drag flicking. This is a unique opportunity to learn from highly skilled coaches.
The camps run throughout the day over three or four days, and for flexibility the option is there to attend 1, 2, 3 or 4 days.
Please note that numbers for the camp are limited and will be formulated on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested please see details below.
