VCB U14 team reach Ulster Semi-Final

The U14 Gaelic Football team coached by Mr. Thompson reached the Ulster Schools’ semi-final against St. Mark’s, Warrenpoint. The match was played in beautiful sunshine at Musgrave Park. Molly McCrory (captain), Katherine Ward and Sarah Trainor dominated midfield while Marianne Doherty was a constant threaton the wings. Robyn Murray was lethal in front of goal whilst Sorcha O’Brien held the defence together. Kaja Lewandowska was perhaps player of the match, pulling off some great saves. Despite losing the match, the girls played very well and represented their school with pride.
