During summer Molly Young was doing 6 weeks of trials and at the end of those 6 weeks the panel of 50 was cut to a squad of 28. She was selected for the U16 squad of 28, and also she was selected as one of 18 to play in an interprovincial match against Connacht which they won 5-0.
