VCB excel at the Ulster Schools Cross Country Championship Final

Several pupils represented Victoria College at the Ulster Schools Cross Country Final, after qualifying at the District Competition last month. The races took place at City of Belfast Playing Fields, Mullusk, on Wednesday 10th February.

The girls all braved the cold weather and performed brilliantly, winning the overall trophy, ‘Top Girls’ School in Ulster’. The team results are as follows: Mini 4th, Minor 1st, Junior 8th, Intermediate 2nd, and Senior 1st. Individually, Amelia Tyler (Mini) came 3rd and Anna Hill (Minor) came 1st overall; a superb achievement!

Three of the teams (Minor, Intermediate, and Senior) have now qualified and are on their way to the Irish Championships on the 5th March in Sligo.

Sarah Webb and Rachel Scott were selected to represent NI at the London Mini Marathon in April.
